I've been in contact with Nate at Beaverton Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki since a couple days after I bought the bike. Suzuki requires that their "regional service manager" give the OK before the work is done. I need to investigate whether this is an actual problem on my bike. For $35, it may be worth trying, regardless.
