 +**Update September 2009**: Suzuki finally shipped a replacement ECM to Beaverton Honda Yamaha Suzuki. I brought my bike in and it took three minutes to replace the part that took three months to acquire. My Strom runs great now -- all the runnability problems have disappeared.

I need to investigate whether this is an actual problem on my bike.
